Introduction - e-Commerce System

OrderCatalyst is fully web-based application that is designed to allow businesses to sell their products and services online, in an efficient and affordable manor.

There are two main roles defined in the system. Buyers and Suppliers.

- Buyers are users that place orders. They may be  employees such as internal Sales people, or they may be free agents acting as resellers.
- Suppliers are the companies that actually process the purchase orders. They are responsible for maintaining the product lists, pricing and if possible stock levels. This enables buyers to place orders based on accurate information.

The system can be optimised for mobile devices, so that orders can easily be placed from users situated out in the field.

In order to use the system you need to sign up either as a Buyer or as a Supplier. Signing up as a Buyer is free, however Suppliers must pay a small fee for use of the system.

Once you have an account, users must then form Links or Trusts with each other before they can transact Business. You should be aware that abusing the system or providing bad service can result in negative ratings or black listings as determined by reports from other users and the System Administrators.
This system has a strong security model and we encourage all users to take part in our verification process to demonstrate that they are trustworthy users.
